Three days after being brought in the Hollandsche Schouwburt Hijman Naarden had written and sent a last letter from there on 20 March 1943 to his married eldest daughter, informing her that they had left for Westerbork and that his son and youngest daughter Jansje probably were sent to Vught. Hijman Naarden was a son of Meijer Naarden and Duifje Turfreijer. He was married to Judith Turfreijer, who passed away already on 27 July 1913.
