A jewel of the youngest daughter of the family of Hijman and Marianne Naarden: the poetry album from Jansje Naarden which was given to her in December 1937. The first page reads: "This album belongs to me, as long as I hope to live. Jansje is my name, given by my parents. Naarden is my name from fatherly descent. Amsterdam the city where I was born." Marianne Frank was a daugther of Raphael Frank and Sara van de Kar, a family with 7 children: Marianne herself, Hartog, Aron, Henderika, Eva, Mietje and Naatje.
Marianne married the widower Hijman Naarden, a son of Meijer Naarden and Duifje Turfreijer on 20 September 1916 in Amsterdam.
