Ludwig Rosenthal was a very close friend of of my cousin Siegfried Fritz Simonstein.
Ludwig's parents were Samuel Rosenthal, born 1871 in Samotchin Posen, Prussia, - died on 24 June 1934 in Schneidemühl, Grenzmark-Posen Westpreussen, and his wife Betty, née Ascher, born 25 May 1869; they had married on 3 May 1904 in Berlin.
According to his birth record, Ludwig was born at 17:30 h in the afternoon in the house of his parents at Zeughausstrasse 6, in Schneidemühl, Germany.
