About Israël van der Sluis and his wife Betje Cohen from Groningen.

Israël van der Sluis was a son of  Jacob van der Sluis and Juutje Overweg. He was born on 25 August 1885 in Zwartsluis and had four other brothers, namely Salomon, Simon, Maurits and Hartog Levie.
