It is still an extremely sensitive topic: suicide during the Second World War. Historians have not known what to do with it for a long time. What is the place of suicide bombers in war history? The death of the family Herman Louis Furth

Herman Louis Furth was married with Mildred Giles and they had 2 children, Herman and Jack. Furth moved to Canada and came back to the Netherlands around 1932 with his wife and children. On the 17th of May, 1940 they committed suicide.
