Henriette (Jetteke) Polak is geboren in Amsterdam in 1921. Ze was de dochter van de bekende hoogleraar in de Rechten in Groningen. Zelf studeerde ze daar medicijnen. Ze werd als represaille gearresteerd en via Ravensbrück naar Auschwitz gedeporteer, waar ze werd omgebracht.
