David de Groot. De foto heeft jaren gestaan bij zijn zus, Clara de Groot die de oorlog heeft overleefd. Na haar overlijden ging de foto naar Mirjam Kan, familie van de moeder van David. In 2015 is Mirjam Kan overleden en de foto is nu terug in Steenwijk. uit de nalatenschap van Mirjam Kan.
