However the date of his death, 29th September 1944, is the date of the transport from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz. The Dutch Red Cross reports: The Dutch Red Cross has passed on a declaration that Ludwig Marx died in Middle Europe not earlier than 19-01-1945 and latest 02-02-1945.
