In December 1941, an obituary was placed in Het Joodsche Weekblad for Betje Wolffers-Jacobs. Het Joodsche Weekblad, 5 December 1941, 8 The funeral records at the Jewish cemetery in Rotterdam reveal that Betje Jacobs was buried there.

Betje was weduwe van David Wolffers (1863-1929) waarmee ze op 11-04-1888 in Amsterdam huwde. Waarschijnlijk hebben 3 van hun kinderen de oorlog overleefd. Ze is een dochter van Jacobus Jacobs (1819-1885) & Alida Stokvis (1832-1900) [bron: digitalestamboom & genlias.nl]
