About the 2nd convoy of 11 August 1942.

This transport contained 999 deportees, among them 147 children, younger than 16 years. More or less in the same ratio as in the 1 st convoy. The date of death of Hijman Abraham Lewin.

Hijman Abraham Lewin was deported with convoy 2 of 11 August 1942 from Mechelen to Auschwitz. Arrival there 13 or 14 August. According to the death books of Auschwitz (Sterbebücher), Hijman Lewin was killed there on 4 September 1942. Source: Sterbebuch Auschwitz
