Refugees

Margrit, Walter and their parents fled Nazi Germany in 1934. They lived in the Beethovenstraat, near the Montessori school. The family was arrested in January 1944 and brought to Westerbork. From there they were deported to Theresienstadt and Auschwitz-Birkenau.
