Arnold Rood was a son of Meijer Rood and Naatje Schenkkan. He was a tailor by profession but worked later as office clerk with the Jewish Council. According to the "Totenbuch" (death records) of Auschwitz III, Arnold Rood was murdered there on 13 May 1944.
