De echtgenoot van Anna Waterman was David Moffie (1915). Na de oorlog werd hij een bekend neuroloog. Hij overleed in de leeftijd van 86 jaar. In 2003 heeft de Amsterdamsche Neurologen Vereeniging de 'Moffieprijs' in het leven geroepen. http://www.amsterdamscheneurologen.nl/prijzen/moffie.php
