Anna (1914) was de dochter van David de Groot en Betje de Groot-Wagenaar. Ze had een broer Aron (1907) en twee zussen: Kaatje (1911) en Marianna Elisabeth (1918). Alleen Kaatje overleefde de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
