Soes Manus de Horst werd geboren 1-11-1896 te Blokzijl. Hij was getrouwd met Roosje Meiboom. Hij had een zuster Rika. Van beroep was hij Kleermaker en had hij een manufacturenwinkel. Soes en Roosje kregen drie kinderen. Het hele gezin werd omgebracht. Soes op 31-3-1944 in Midden-Europa. Op de foto's Soes en Roosje.
