Jonas Hegt was an architect in The Hague, an architectural advisor to the Jewish Community in Rotterdam, and the architect for the Jewish Community (Israëlische Gemeente) in Delft. He co-designed the synagogue at De Carpentierstraat 141, The Hague, which was built in 1937.
