Summer 1941 in the garden of the Klinkenberg family in Heemstede. The girl with the braids is Dinah van Rijs, (usually named Diny). The big blond girl is Dineke Klinkenberg holding the little Inedt, a next-door-girl and right the loyal four-footed dog of the Klinkenberg family: Hugh.
