Gezin Herman Jakobs

De familie Jakobs woonde bij het begin van de bezetting in de Koestraat 25a te Zwolle. Op deze foto, die is gemaakt kort voordat ze in 1942 onderdoken, zien we de handelsreiziger Herman Israël Jakobs, zijn vrouw Sophie ten Brink, hun dochters Betje en Minna en hun zoon Israël. Uiteindelijk werden ze op 24 augustus 1944 gearresteerd op hun onderduikadres, Julianastraat 16. Alleen de oudste dochter Betje (tweede van links) overleefde de oorlog. Aanvulling

Herman Jakobs is op 31 augustus 1921 te Denekamp getrouwd met Sophie ten Brink. Zij vestigden zich met hun kinderen op 24 januari 1930 vanuit Coevorden in Zwolle in de Koestraat. Herman Jakobs was handelsreiziger.
