Abraham de Swaan was the son of Benedictus de Swaan and Eva Wolf. he was a merchant in flowers. Later he started a radio shop.
Abraham de Swaan was married twice. He divorced his first wife, with whom he had a child, in 1935. Both (ex-)wifes and his child survived the war.
