About Steffie Pinner

Biography -

In 1934, a Quakerschool was set up in Eerde (Ommen village). Some young German refugees visited the school, which educated them for a farming life in Palestine. On 1 September 1941, the Jewish pupils were transferred to a separate school in Eerde under the leadership of a female Jewish teacher. On 10 April 1943, they were taken to the Vught camp. Steffie Pinner was one of them.
