Het laatste adres waar Jozeph Wolff in Meppel woonde was Oosteinde 12boven. Dat is het pand waarvan we de grote witte zijmuur zien, waarvoor dat tuintje en de straatlantaarn zijn gesitueerd.

Op 25 november 1942 produceerde de gemeente Meppel een lijst met daarop de stand van zaken wat de joodse Meppelers betreft. Hieruit blijkt dat Jozeph naar het werkkamp in Vledder was gezonden.

Het tweede pand aan de linkerzijde van deze foto was vroeger Eerste Hoofdstraat 19 geadresseerd. Daar woonde de familie Koenders en dreef haar bloemenwinkel. Op de eerste verdieping woonde Jozeph Wolff en pleegde zijn zelfmoordpoging.

De ouders van Frederika en Jozeph Wolff woonden in Meppel en werden op de begraafplaats van de 'Israelitische Gemeente te Meppel' aan de Steenwijkerstraatweg begraven. Jacob Wolff op 6 februari 1920 en haar moeder Judik van Buuren op 5 juni 1932.
