Tobias Feigenblatt zat  samen met zijn broer Leo in het eerste transport naar Auschwitz van 15 juli 1942. Zij behoorden tot de groep van 100 'Alte Lagerinsassen' van Westerbork die voor dit eerste transport werden geselecteerd.
