Abraham Broches raakte op 5 juni 1941 gewond tijdens een poging op een rijdende tram te springen, vlak bij zijn huis. Hij werd met een hoofdwond naar het ziekenhuis gebracht. Bron: stadsarchief Amsterdam, politie-rapport '40- '45

Centraal blad voor Israëlieten in Nederland 25 maart 1927 Aron (Ronnie) Broches vertrok in 1939 naar New York en zou de oorlog overleven. Na de oorlog is hij teruggekeerd naar Amsterdam en zette het familie-bedrijf voort.
