In January 1942, an obituary was placed in Het Joodsche Weekblad for I. Reens. Het Joodsche Weekblad, 23 January 1942, 9 The funeral records at the Jewish cemetery in Leeuwarden reveal that Izak Reens was buried there.

Izak Reens and his family

The family Reens had three children. Daughter Rosa died in Sobibor. Their second child found a place to hide and emigrated to America. Their third child was married before the war and had three children. They survived the war. Addition of a visitor of the website.
