Nathan Stranders was the son of Abraham Stranders and Betje Levie. He worked as a musician. On 8 March 1945 he was shot dead at Camp Amersfoort as part of a reprisal for the attack at Woeste Hoeve, in which the SS chief Hanns Rauter had been severely wounded.
