Willem of Wolf is geboren in Ukkel/Belgie op 7 oktober 1936. Hij was nog tiener toen hij op 20 april 1943 op transport werd gesteld naar Sobibor waar hij, zijn broers en ouders op 23 april 1943 werden vermoord.
