Moritz came to the Netherlands in January 1939. First he lived at the Steeg and Driebergen before going to Wieringen in November 1939. He studied agriculture and was not a Zionist; Moritz wanted to go to California.
His father was in Antwerp (Sommerstr. 9, later Leeuwerikstr. 35), which is why Moritz was on a list of children who were to be exchanged between the Netherlands and Belgium.
His mother's name was Malka Fass, born in 1895 in Poland: his father's name was Juda: he was born in 1896 in Poland.
Last address in Germany: Agrippastr. 71, Köln.
