Early April 1945, prisoners from the concentration camp Bergen Belsen were transferred to concentration camp Theresienstadt. One of the three trains used for that purpose, was liberated near Tröbitz by the Russian army. Many occupants of the train did not survive this journey. Of the people who died in that train, 26 of them were interred in a joint grave. This joint grave is located at the Dobrilugkerstraat near the railroad crossing beside the crossing keepers house “Grube Hansa”.
Selma Hertzberger-Roos has been interred in this joint grave.
