Zoon van Rosa (of Röschen) Kirschner-Hoffmann

Het kind dat de oorlog heeft overleefd is Ludwig Ernst Kirschner (1898) die later naam zou maken als eigenaar van eethuisje Het Vette Hapje bij de Magere Brug in Amsterdam. Kirschner komt veelvuldig voor in het Dagboek (2016) van Max de Jong.
