Martin Friedmann was a music conductor with the stage names "Pax" and "Dr. Martin". He lived in Berlin and Essen prior to emigrating to Amsterdam on 04.02.1935. (Ausgemerzt!: Das Lexikon der Juden in der Musik und seine mörderischen Folgen)
