Hertog Frankenhuis was a son of Heiman Frankenhuis en Sophia Meijer. 19 Juli 1905 he married in Hengelo (Overijssel) Kaatje Kanteman from Hengelo, a daughter of Simon Kanteman and Hanna Jacobson. 30 May 1906 the couple had a daughter Hanna Sophia, who presumably has survived the Holocaust.
