Elias Spitz was previously married to Rachel Konijn in 1907 in Amsterdam. She died in 1921. He remarried in 1924 to Lena Hoofiën in Amsterdam. Two children of Elias Spitz survived the war. One child had already left the parental home at that time. Another child not living at home anymore was David.
