Adelheid Roozendaal was the widow of Julius de Leeuw (1883-1934). She was born in Emden, Germany. In 1907, she married Julius in Lochem. After the wedding, the couple lived in the town of Hengelo. Adelheid had three children. Like their father, her sons were butchers.
