Brief echtgenoot.

In het Drents provinciaal archief te Assen ligt een schrijven van Salomon Zwaab aan de kampcommandant (1942). Daaruit blijkt dat zangeres Esther landelijke bekendheid genoot via de radio. De brief suggereert tevens dat Esther vrijwillig naar kamp Westerbork wilde komen voor optredens.
