Oudste zoon overleefde

De oudste zoon van Nathan Bernard en Sophia, geboren in 1906 te Emmen, trouwde in 1935 met een nicht uit Alphen aan de Rijn. Zij overleefden de oorlog. De zoon werd later eigenaar van een kopermijn in Zuid-Afrika, en overleed daar in 1989.
