About Ruth Schönfeld

Biography -

Ruth Schönfeld and her parents came from Berlin to the Netherlands in 1936. During the war they were deported trough Westerbork and Theresienstadt te Bergen-Belsen. There they witnessed the liberation. Ruth Schönfeld probably died soon after the liberation.
There is a story that Ruth was asked by a British patrol to jump on board there truck but that she was too weak and the truck continued without her.
