Samuel Bobbe was the son of Salomon Bobbe (died in 1921) and Sophia Kloot (died in 1912). He was married to Marieka Kampyon. The couple had six children: Sophia (died in 1914), Salomon, Hijman, Simon and two children who survived the war.
