This is Max born: July 19th 1918. Taken in his uniform in Wassenaar 1st June 1940. We believe he was a volunteer for the Dutch army, to defend Den Haag at that critical time.

Max Werkendam, although his birth name was Mozes was born in 1918. Max married Greetje van Emrik in 1941. He was the brother of Simon, Isaak, Gerritt, Leentje,Judith,Jesaia and Abraham and the son of Salomon Werkendam and Jansje Roodveldt - Werkendam.
