Werner Arthur came to the Netherlands on January 11th, 1939. His father got special permission to travel with him, as Werner Arthur was completely paralyzed he could not travel with a regular Kindertransport.
His younger brother did come to the Netherlands with a Kindertransport, but went to England in July 1939.
Werner's parents were Sophie Louise Ollesheimer and Emil. They were living in Fürth in Bavaria.
